From an Indian to a Pilgrim in 24 hours

Please, don't look too closely, and don't judge me on the quality of this craft...I'm flyin' by the seat of my pants here, with minimal craft supplies--construction paper, staples, scissors, and crayons--and this was the best I could come up with!

*I know, I know...that's the biggest buckle I've ever seen, too....I overestimated on size*

Colin didn't seem to mind his hat's 'generic-ness'.

He's been wearing that thing since 10:30 this morning! *giggle*

When we were in third grade we used paper grocery bags to make Indian vests! Just cut a neck hole and two arm holes and a slit up the front. We just colored them and made little cuts at the bottom to look like fringe :) Just in case you need another Thanksgiving craft idea :)

Devin-
I did get the Craft link from your blog's comments. I love blog hopping and finding great ideas. Your Indian and pilgrim hats are very cute. I am jealous as boy pilgrim hats are so much easier then girl pilgrim hats. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving with your precious family.

You did just fine. And you know what they say about big buckles...

Actually, I don't know that "they" say ANYTHING about big buckles, but hypothetically speaking of courseI thought it was a funny thing to say.

I know, I know. I'm weird.

Hey Dev-
Cute crafts and cute Indians! Brooklyn and I made turkeys yesterday. I got the idea off of http://www.first-school.ws/theme/animals/birds/turkey.htm
The feet to our turkey were a little odd, but she didn't even know the difference!
