Bronchitis, by the numbers

3 little boys with

6 infected lungs

1 mommy who goes approximately

17 seconds without hearing one of them coughing

15 minute nebulizer treatments being given every

3 hours to each boy, equals

270 minutes a day that my boys are wearing a medicine-administering mask and

269 minutes a day that they are asking me to watch a movie while they do their treatments

60 nebulizer parts that need to be washed per day

9 doses of Robitussin between them per day to help keep the coughing at bay while their little lungs try to heal

83 ounces (seemingly) of Vicks administered on chests for rest time and night time

26 books read to cranky children in the last

28 hours since we went to the library

16 vitamin C's and

8 Airbornes taken in the last 72 hours so as not to come down with this myself

4 movies watched in full--not counting Veggies--this week

more ounces of water consumed and more prayers sent up on their behalf to even count

6 hours short on Mommy's sleep (at least)

=

3 grumpy, tired little boys and

1 grumpy/tired/frustrated/asthmatic/exasperated/not-patient-enough-but-always-sympathetic-because-she's-been-through-this-herself-many-times-and-she-knows-how-horrible-it-really-is Mommy.

I don't care if you are grumpy, tired, exasperated, and not-patient-enough... you rock woman!

My prayers go up for those little guys and for their mom to have those silver-lining moments to carry on.

I feel your pain! I hope your lil guys get feeling better! Hopefully you DON'T get it! Sometimes I wonder how we (as moms) stay healthy so many times. Especially when they are on our laps and practically breathing directly in our face! God takes care of mothers! ;)

Hang in there! =)

Aw, sweet Dev! I wish I could come help out so you could get some rest.

I swear, we SO need to be neighbors someday!

Arrggg! I was so hoping that at least Ethan wouldn't come down with the nasty stuff. I can sure sympathize. Those neb treatments last forever...especially when there are multiple patients! :) I'm not a huge fan of putting a movie on for the kids to watch, but it sure works well for the neb treatments.

Praying that you all get better SOON!!!

No fun! Yet another thing to look forward too with three boys right! I haven't quite experienced this, my don't get it at the same time, just one after the other! Praying you don't get it, but you get sleep and take care of those boys!
