Actual conversation between me and Colin at the dinner table tonight:
Colin: "Mom, my phone* is ringing."
*his fake cell phone
I chose not to say anything at that moment....for sheer lack of knowing exactly what to say.
Colin again: "Moooo-oooom....my phone is ringing! I need to answer it."
Me: "Well, it's dinner time. You are just going to have to let it go to voicemail, and call them back after dinner."

Just wait 'til it's a real cell phone and you have to remind him to turn it off at the dinner table. :)
